Government has launched the first ever national migration and Human trafficking and smuggling policy.
Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister JACK MWIIMBU says the policy seeks to enhance migration management and address cases of human trafficking and smuggling.
Mr. MWIIMBU explains that migration has become a topical issue not only in African but globally hence the need to manage it properly.
He was speaking during the launch of the policy in Lusaka .
And in his presentation , Immigration Director General JAPHET LISHOMWA said the policy will enhance efficiency in the operations of the immigration department.
