Education Minister DOUGLAS SYAKALIMA says Government will complete the construction of the 116 unfinished Schools countrywide by August next year.
Mr. SYAKALIMA says once complete, the infrastructure will help to address the overcrowding that is being experienced in some Schools due to the influx of pupils enrolling in large numbers .
He also says Government is working hard to ensure that no pupil sits on the floor by December 2023.
Mr. SYAKALIMA said this at Faith Baptist Boarding Secondary School in Chongwe during an interaction with teachers.
The Education Minister also checked on the School furniture delivered to the institution.
The Ministry of Education recently provided the School with 420 desks.
